Curtis Frye started on the mound and pitched his max of 5 innings. He had a great outing with 9 strike outs and only giving up 2 hits and 2 runs. Next, Michael Bernard took over the mound and had a strong performance taking us into the 8th and second extra inning. Finally, Tylor Leeper stepped in to close out the game and he did not disappoint striking out the final batter with the tying run in scoring position to win the game. Cam Alvado had a solid performance catching all 8 innings and also providing a key hit in the top of the 8th to keep the winning rally going that started with hits from Michael Bernard and Curtis Frye. The eventual winning run was scored by Brendan Bush off of the bat of Anthony Barbaretta. With great base running the team stole 10 out of 11 bases attempted. Finally, with important contributions from everyone on the team the game ended at 1:00am in the morning with a very exciting championship victory.
