The 12u LadyCats, in cooperation with the Grand Blanc FISH organization, is seen here with their donated items for their adopted family this holiday season. FISH Inc. provides food to the needy throughout the year and runs an annual back-to-school giveaway and during the holiday season, holds their Christmas Basket Project. The organization has coordinated the distribution of food and gifts to families in the Grand Blanc School District for the past 38 years. 12U LadyCats Win Knock-It-Out of the YARD Tournament
On Sunday, November 22, the 12U LadyCats competed and were rewarded as CO-CHAMPS with a hard fought 0 – 0 tie in the Championship Game against the Wizards – Legacy team out of Ohio as LadyCats pitcher Kendall Klochack struck out 21 in holding the Outlaws hitless for the second time on the day. The LadyCats accumulated 31 hits on the day led by Jazzy Carrroll with 5, and Gabby Monreal, Kendall Klochack and Annabelle Morningstar with 4 apiece. 2015 12U LadyCats Win North Oakland League Championship!
The 2015 LadyCats 12u softball season came to a close with the team winning the North Oakland Fast Pitch League Championship with a record of 14-1. The ladies played extremely well throughout the entire season relying on positive attitudes and exceptional effort and dominated the league. Pitching, defense and timely hitting were the hallmarks for the 12U LadyCats this year. The team finished the year with an overall record of 23-10 and showed great improvement and pride every time they took the field. The only team the Cats couldn't get past were the tournament hosts, New Lothrop. After falling to the Hornets 7-4 in pool play on Saturday, the Cats earned their way back to a rematch in the championship game on Sunday afternoon. 8U Cats Grab Runner-Up Honors at the 2015 Clio Tournament
The Cats spent the entire tournament with a target on their backs. They set the tone with an opening game 9-0 shutout of Clio, then a 4-1 victory over Oxford in pool play to secure the #1 seed in the bracket, and a bye into the semi-finals.
